You Will Be Responsible For:
- Accurately apply cash posting by manual or automatic posting
- Daily follow up on accounts in workflow according to follow up procedure.
- Accurately documents all pertinent information within the client account.
- Responsible for daily, weekly, and monthly balancing of posted cash.
- Process correspondence.
- Resolved unidentified payment transactions within reconciliation reports
- Maintains or exceeds audit standards on established goals.
- Must be flexible with hours within the work week to accommodate for business needs at month-end financial close
- Additional duties as assigned by the Manager.
Qualifications
What You Will Need:
- B.Com degree
- Insurance accounting experience preferred.
- Proficient in excel and word.
- Fluent in English
Job Summary:
Under supervision, sorts payments and insurance correspondence from mail, lockbox, or clerk prioritizing batches for processing according to protocol and within specified time frame. Creates computerized control batches and enters data from checks, mail, lockbox deposits, and electronic remittances, while maintaining department standards of productivity and accuracy. Ensures all correspondence, interoffice or external, is routed appropriately and efficiently. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all. Adheres to Lalgan Compliance Plan and to all rules and regulations of all applicable local, state and federal agencies and accrediting bodies.
